Brett’s out of surgery. Surgeon put in a trach, which will help him breathe and save his vocal chords.
White count is good, but they were unable to close the wound. Said it would be another week or so before they can close the wound.
We are closer to being “out of the woods,” as the doctor stated. We are still concerned about his kidney function.
Thank you to all of you who are helping me with the kids, the house, running errands … and especially prayers. I am returning to California on Saturday.
